Professional Experience:

Mr. Morris concentrates his practice in the areas of municipal and government relations and education. He presently serves as township solicitor for Southampton Township, as well as municipal prosecutor for Medford Township. For Southampton Township, he served as a member of the lead counsel seeking invalidation of a state unfunded mandate concerning municipal payment for state rural police service. Mr. Morris was successful in helping to convince New Jersey Council on Local Mandates to void a section of the state budget, which would have resulted in a fiscal crisis for most rural municipalities in New Jersey.

Before earning his law degree, Mr. Morris served as the Deputy Township Manager of Mount Laurel Township, and also as a member of the Township's Municipal Utilities Authority. Prior to working with Mount Laurel Township, Mr. Morris served as legislative staff member to retired Congressman Jim Saxton (NJ-3rd) in the Congressman's Washington D.C. office.

Mr. Morris was born in Lorain, Ohio, and currently resides in Lumberton, New Jersey with his wife, Chrissie, and three children, Alexander, Abigail and Anastasia. He is chairman of his children's school fundraising committee and enjoys coaching baseball.
