Professional Experience:

Mr. Weiss concentrates his practice in the areas of education law, construction law, labor law, and labor negotiations, focusing solely on the representation of school districts. He has over 27 years experience in all areas of school district representation, including special education, bidding, construction, land acquisition, employment law, and public sector labor relations.

Mr. Weiss serves as co-chair of Parker McCay's School Employment and Labor Law Department. He previously served for six years in the legal department of the New Jersey School Boards Association, including four years as assistant executive director and general counsel. He has been a frequent writer and speaker, and is co-author of Basic School Law (NJSBA, 1984).
