Allan Vogelson Appointed to Judicial Performance Commission of Supreme Court of New Jersey Marlton, NJ, July 14, 2010 - Parker McCay attorney, Hon. Allan Vogelson, J.S.C. (Ret.), has been appointed by the Supreme Court of New Jersey to serve as a member of the Judicial Performance Commission. He will serve a three-year term that runs through August 31, 2012. The Commission is composed of several retired judges who assist the Judicial Performance Committee in the regular evaluation of the performance of judges. The Commission will also assist in the development and administration of judicial performance improvement programs in cooperation with the Judicial College and other judicial education programs. Judge Vogelson, Of Counsel, for Parker McCay, served as a presiding judge for the Camden County Superior Court for more than 12 years until his retirement from the bench in 2006. He served as presiding judge of the Camden County Superior Court's Civil Division for eight years, and was subsequently appointed as presiding judge of that Court's Chancery Division, and served in that capacity until his retirement. Prior to his appointment as presiding judge, he served as a judge for Camden County's family and criminal divisions. Judge Vogelson focuses his practice on alternative dispute resolution and complex litigation. He is admitted to the New Jersey bar, the U.S. Supreme Court, the U.S. 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. Court of Claims. He is a member of the Camden County, Burlington County, Gloucester County, New Jersey State, and American Bar Associations. He is a resident of Cherry Hill, NJ.
