As a member of Parker McCay’s Corporate and Commercial Lending departments, Anand Acharya provides his clients with full-spectrum representation in corporate governance and financing matters. His clients typically include small and medium-sized enterprises, commercial lenders and banks, and entrepreneurs.
In addition, Anand has been active in the field of trademarks. He has been invited to speak on many occasions at the Annual Intellectual Property Law Summit hosted by Y.J. Trivedi-AMA Academy for Intellectual Property Rights in India. Most recently, he delivered a lecture and sat on a panel discussing the crossroads of intellectual property protections and the need for access to life-saving medicines.
Anand earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers University-Camden. While at Rutgers, he was elected to the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team and competed in Hong Kong, SAR, earning an individual ranking in the top 20% of all participants and an honorable mention for the best brief award.
Prior to attending law school, Anand earned his Accounting degree from Pace University – Pleasantville, where he was heavily involved in student government and community outreach.
Anand was born in Woodbridge, New Jersey and currently resides in Mickleton, New Jersey.
