Parker McCay’s summer associate program is designed for second year law students and serves as one way the firm identifies potential first year associates.
Our summer class is selectively small and candidates are chosen from area law schools. The intention of the program is to give our “Summers” a glimpse into life as a first year associate. During their time with us, they experience a rotation in several different practice areas to learn more about the day-to-day aspects of that department and begin to develop a sense of what type of work they enjoy.
Although the main purpose is to gain experience, we also like to have a little fun. There are several social events planned throughout the summer so we can get to know each other on a more personal level.
