Parker McCay Continues Central New Jersey Expansion

January 26, 2017

Parker McCay P.A. is continuing to expand geography for its broad portfolio of legal services targeted to public entities with the addition of two preeminent attorneys who will be based in the firm’s Hamilton New Jersey office.

Michael W. Herbert has joined the firm as a shareholder and Steven P. Goodell will take on an Of Counsel role with the firm. Both attorneys were name partners with the preeminent law firm of Herbert Van Ness Cayci & Goodell, which specialized in municipal government law, land use, real estate, employment and labor relations as well as regulatory and administrative law. They also handled civil litigation matters at all levels of the New Jersey State and Federal Court System, as well as administrative agency proceedings and alternative methods of dispute resolution.

“Parker McCay continues to grow our offerings and market share,” said Philip A. Norcross, Parker McCay’s Managing Partner and Chief Executive Officer. “The addition of Mike and Steve helps broaden our service area for local government entities from Cape May County through Middlesex County and northern New Jersey.”

“Integrating our practice with Parker McCay opens up a wider array of legal services we can now offer our clients,” said Michael Herbert. Steven Goodell added, “The synergies created are advantageous for long-term growth in the market.”

Parker McCay also serves New Jersey private sector businesses statewide across a multitude of industries.
