George M. Morris Promoted to Shareholder

Parker McCay announces the promotion of George M. Morris to Shareholder.

Mr. Morris concentrates his practice in Municipal and Governmental Law. He handles complex matters for his clients concerning all aspects of municipal, fire, and school district governmental matters. He also represents his clients in matters regarding public records and public meeting acts compliance, open space initiatives, acquisition, and regulatory oversight. Mr. Morris frequently speaks on and handles complex matters regarding the New Jersey Open Public Records Act and matters pertaining to New Jersey election laws. He also serves as municipal prosecutor for multiple municipalities in Burlington County.

Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Mr. Morris served as a municipal manager and member of a municipal utility authority after serving several years working on Capitol Hill as a Legislative Assistant for the U.S. House of Representatives. He earned his juris doctorate from Rutgers University School of Law, his master’s degree in Public Administration from Rutgers Graduate School of Public Policy Administration, and his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Rutgers University.
