Parker McCay announces the promotion of Mariel J. Giletto to Shareholder.
Ms. Giletto, a resident of Burlington County for most of her life, is the Chair of the Business and Corporate Law group. Mrs. Giletto acts as general counsel to some of South Jersey’s most prominent businesses and focuses her practice on a range of transactional matters, including corporate development, operations, governance, compliance, risk management, mergers and acquisitions, and commercial lending. Ms. Giletto drafts and negotiates agreements, contracts, and other transactional documents for her clients including stock and asset purchase agreements, commercial lease and sales agreements, and corporate organizational documents and resolutions. Committed to public service, Ms. Giletto acts as the Director of Public Policy for the National Association of Women Business Owners South Jersey and sits on the Burlington County Advisory Council on Women to identify issues affecting women in Burlington County and advocate for improvements and solutions.
Prior to joining Parker McCay in 2015, Ms. Giletto was an associate in the Gaming Practice Group of the Corporate Department at a national law firm. She earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law and bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
