Mount Laurel NJ—Carolyn J. Rutsky, Parker McCay’s Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, was appointed Board Chair for the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern New Jersey at their annual meeting held on April 18, 2015.
Ms. Rutsky has served as a board member for the Girl Scouts of Central & Southern NJ since 2010 and has held several volunteer roles including troop leader and treasurer, service unit team member and council delegate. She was honored in 2009 by GSCSNJ as a Woman of Distinction and has presented financial workshops at the annual Girl Leadership Summit.
Ms. Rutsky brings almost 20 years of executive level experience to the Girl Scouts. In her current role as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer for Parker McCay P.A., she oversees daily operations of the firm's accounting, information technology, human resources, facilities and marketing departments. She also guides the strategic plan for the firm's three locations and 160 attorneys and staff.
Ms. Rutsky previously served as Executive Director of the Mercadien Group in Hamilton Township, N.J. Prior to that position she managed hedge fund operations and alternative investment accounting teams as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs and Company for their Hedge Fund Strategies Division. Carolyn earned her Master's degree in Accounting from Rider University and has an undergraduate degree in Finance.
Ms. Rutsky resides in Hamilton Township with her family.
