Linda A. Galella joins Parker McCay's Local Government Practice Area

Mount Laurel, NJ -- Linda A. Galella has joined New Jersey law firm Parker McCay as Counsel in the Municipal and Government Department. She will practice out of the firm’s Mount Laurel, NJ office headquarters.

Ms. Galella focuses her practice in municipal government, employment, civil rights and government liability. She has worked in private practice since 1993. She has extensive experience defending public entities in sexual harassment lawsuits, discrimination lawsuits, hostile work environment claims, “whistleblower” claims and wrongful termination claims. She represents clients in State and Federal court (including the NJ Appellate Division and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit), the Division of Civil Rights, the EEOC, mediation and arbitration. 

Ms. Galella serves as solicitor for the Mantua Township Land Use Board and Mantua Township Rent Leveling Board.  She is also the Conflict Solicitor for the Mantua Township Utilities Authority, Deptford Township Planning Board and Zoning Board.   She has served as a public defender in Mantua Township and a municipal prosecutor in Winslow Township.  Since 2005, she has served on the Roster of Civil Division Arbitrators in Gloucester, Cumberland, Salem and Burlington Counties.

Prior to joining Parker McCay, Ms. Galella worked at Richardson, Galella, and Austermuhl. There, she represented a large number of public entities, including civil service municipalities. She earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law and Bachelor’s degree from Saint Joseph’s University.
