Amy R. Guerin joins Parker McCay's Public Schools & Education Practice Area

Mount Laurel, NJ --Amy R. Guerin has joined New Jersey law firm, Parker McCay, as an Associate who will be working in both the Public School and Labor and Employment Law departments. She will practice out of the firm’s Mount Laurel, NJ office headquarters.

Ms. Guerin is a public advocate who has been working with school districts for more than a dozen years in capacities such as solicitor/special counsel, policy director, spokesperson and school board member. Prior to joining Parker McCay, she was a sole practitioner who focused on all aspects of school law, labor and employment law and civil rights. Prior to opening her firm, she practiced law with a suburban Pennsylvania firm that specializes in representing educational entities. Before that, she was the Philadelphia School Reform Commission’s first Policy Director where she was responsible for developing policy, supervising outside counsel, overseeing government relations, and managing the Commission’s quasi-judicial duties.

Ms. Guerin received her law degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law and her Bachelor’s Degree from Boston College.  She has been a CLE instructor at the Pennsylvania School Solicitors Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Institute, and has served for two years on the Burlington Township Board of Education. Ms. Guerin is currently Chairperson of the Burlington County Regional Chamber of Commerce Women in Business Committee.
