Mount Laurel, N.J.— Mariel J. Giletto has joined New Jersey law firm Parker McCay as Counsel, Chair of the Business and Corporate Department. She will practice out of the firm’s Mount Laurel, NJ office headquarters.
Ms. Giletto focuses her practice on various aspects of corporate law. She has experience handling corporate matters including corporate development, operations, governance, compliance, and risk management. She also has transactional experience including securities, mergers, and acquisitions. Ms. Giletto is well-versed in matters relating to marketing, social media, and other promotional activities, including sweepstakes and other prize promotion contests. She understands federal, state, and other regulations to ensure compliance for her clients. Ms. Giletto is knowledgeable about licensing processes, from applications through investigations, and also drafts and negotiates contracts and other documents including stock and asset purchase agreements, commercial lease and sales agreements, corporate organizational documents and resolutions, and documents to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission. She has experience representing the gaming equipment vendors, private equity and investment banking firms, Internet gaming companies and casinos. Ms. Giletto has handled gaming-related regulatory matters in numerous jurisdictions in the United States and abroad.
Prior to joining Parker McCay, Ms. Giletto was an associate in the Gaming Practice Group of the Corporate Department at Fox Rothschild, LLP. She earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law and bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, New Brunswick.
