Carl Taylor III

Overview

Municipal and Government and Construction Senior Associate Carl Taylor joins Parker McCay with a broad and diverse legal background. Having practiced both at large firms and independently, Carl brings experience in government law, school law, family law, and litigation, providing a well-rounded and practical perspective to his work. His passion for public service and effecting positive change within his community led him to Parker McCay’s Municipal and Government Practice Group, where he leverages his extensive experience to serve local government entities. Additionally, he works with our Construction and Procurement Practice Group, assisting in complex litigation matters.

Carl has represented clients throughout New Jersey, including serving as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Somerset. He has represented the Somerset County Agriculture Development Board and the Somerset County Board of Construction Appeals and has served as Municipal Prosecutor for more than a dozen municipalities, including Bridgewater, Flemington, Bedminster, Bernardsville, and Middlesex Borough. A former Trustee of the Somerset County Bar Association, Carl has also lectured on education law, government law, and the Open Public Meetings Act. He resides in Burlington County with his wife and two daughters.
