John S. Rigden

Overview

John Rigden is a tenacious advocate who represents his clients with gusto. John takes pride in building relationships with his clients, instilling confidence and providing reassuring guidance.  He strives to defend a person rather than simply making an argument on his or her behalf.  To him, that is what being a lawyer is all about.

As a firm shareholder focusing on Medical Malpractice and Litigation, John centers his practice solely on the defense of New Jersey hospitals and healthcare practitioners as trial counsel and in the appellate courts.  John litigates and advises in a wide variety of subjects including medical malpractice, intentional torts, premises liability, contracts and regulatory and licensing matters. He takes pride in his ability to evaluate and come to efficient solutions.   His knowledge and experience help him navigate our most complex cases for some of our largest clients.

John has cemented himself as a legal community leader.  The New Jersey Supreme Court has qualified him as a Certified Civil Trial Attorney, a distinction reserved for a small fraction of lawyers statewide.  In Burlington County, the New Jersey Supreme Court also appointed John to serve as Co-Chair of the District IIIB Fee Arbitration Committee.

John spends his leisure time traveling, playing golf and rooting for his alma mater, the Florida State Seminoles.
