With decades of litigation experience, Lora has successfully represented healthcare facilities, physicians, nurses, dentists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals across a broad range of specialties, including cardiology, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, emergency medicine, family medicine, anesthesiology, dentistry, psychiatry, plastic surgery, nursing, and physical therapy. Her extensive courtroom experience has equipped her to aggressively litigate cases from the earliest stages through trial, with a relentless focus on protecting her clients and positioning them for success.

Lora also represents physicians before Boards of Medical Examiners, where her litigation experience and deep understanding of the healthcare industry provide a critical advantage. She works closely with healthcare institutions on risk management, quality assurance, and pre-suit adverse occurrence management, helping clients identify and address potential problems before they become costly litigation.

Her knowledge extends beyond the courtroom. On numerous occasions over the decades, Lora has provided educational programs to healthcare facility staff and employees on medical-legal issues, helping healthcare professionals better understand their legal obligations and minimize risk.

Lora joined Parker McCay as an Associate in 1995 after gaining litigation experience at other area law firms. At Parker McCay, she was promoted to Counsel in 2004 and elected a Shareholder in 2008. Lora co-chairs the firm’s Medical Malpractice Department. She is a past and present elected member of the firm’s Executive Committee. She has also held positions on numerous firm committees, including the Associates Committee, Accounts Receivable Committee, Hiring Committee, and Technology Committee.
