March 2, 2021

Parker McCay represented a civil service municipality in a case to remove an employee from his position.  Attorney Colleen Heckman, enlisting the help of a private detective, investigated and brought disciplinary charges against a public officer who surreptitiously engaged in conduct conflicting with the interests of the municipality and who used his position for personal gain.  After a three day hearing, the hearing officer, siding with the municipality, recommended removal of the employee.  The successful removal of this employee was a necessary step to maintain the integrity and efficiency of the client.
