Tama Hughes Sworn in as Administrative Law Judge

Former Parker McCay corporate law attorney, Tama B. Hughes, took the oath as an Administrative Law Judge in January. The Honorable Tama Hughes will hear disputes arising from agency actions and also ensure agency compliance with rule making procedures.

Judge Hughes, whose father was a former U.S. congressman and ambassador, previously was vice president and corporate counsel for Tropicana Casino and Resort in Atlantic City. Hughes also served as deputy attorney general for the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice as well as an assistant prosecutor for Cape May County.

Judge Hughes earned her law degree at Widener University School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Mount Vernon College.
