On January 30, the NJ Supreme Court denied certification in a case brought by Pennington Borough against Hopewell Township over the terms of a PILOT agreement, letting stand the Appellate Division decision in favor of our client, Hopewell Township. Steve Goodell and Alexis Smith defended the Township. The case, which was litigated over four years, had raised novel issues of interpretation of the Long Term Tax Exemption Law.
