EEOC Policy Changes: Are You Compliant?

The objective of this presentation is to review some of the most important changes coming out of the EEOC. The goal is to prepare the HR professional to face new legal challenges through a variety of means, including updating policies and implementing relevant employee trainings.  Items to be discussed include updates to leaves as reasonable accommodations, information on wellness programs so that there is no violation of the ADA, post-accident drug and alcohol testing. Other topics may include employee pay data on EEO-1 forms, increase in Pregnancy Discrimination claims and what to do to protect the employer, EEOC Guidance on Women’s rights in the workplace, and maintaining good records to avoid an EEO lawsuit.
