Special Education Laws Made Simple

Brett E.J. Gorman Presenting at NBI Special Education Law Seminar

December 8, 2015
Cherry Hill, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ

School Law attorney, Brett E.J. Gorman will be co-presenting a seminar for the National Business Institute (NBI) called “Special Education Laws Made Simple.”  There will be two opportunities to attend this fall (2015) in New Jersey:  December 8th in Cherry Hill and December 9th in Atlantic City.

This comprehensive course lays out the legal requirements and procedures, and examines the landmines to avoid. Learn from other schools' missteps in applicable case studies, and get compliance tips from experienced attorney faculty on evaluating students, developing IEPs, making placement decisions, handling due process proceedings and managing behavioral issues.

Mr. Gorman has extensive experience representing public schools in all areas affecting their operation, with a particular focus on special education litigation; the harassment, intimidation, and bullying law; personnel issues; and civil rights litigation.
