Parker McCay Adds Four New Associates

Mount Laurel, N.J. - New Jersey law firm Parker McCay welcomes four new associates. Mohammad Shaiful Kashem, Kaitlin McCaffrey, Merve Ocak, and Alexis Smith join growing practice areas throughout the firm.

Mohammad Shaiful Kashem focuses his practice in the area of public finance law. He earned his law degree from Rutgers Law School – Camden in 2020. Mr. Kashem spent the last year serving as law clerk to the Honorable Christine Allen-Jackson at Gloucester County Superior Court. He is licensed to practice in New Jersey.

Kaitlin McCaffrey joins the public schools and education practice. Ms. McCaffrey received her Juris Doctorate in 2020 from Rutgers Law School. She recently completed her clerkship in the Superior Court of New Jersey (Woodbury, NJ) with the Honorable Marybeth Kramer. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Merve Ocak concentrates her practice in medical malpractice defense. In 2020, she received her law degree from Widener University – Delaware Law School. Prior to joining Parker McCay, Ms. Ocak clerked for the Honorable Mark K. Chase, J.S.C. at the Camden County Hall of Justice, Camden, NJ. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey.

Alexis Smith joins the firm’s Municipal Law Department. She graduated with her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law – Camden in 2020. Following graduation, Ms. Smith spent her clerkship with the Honorable Jeanne T. Covert, A.J.S.C. in Mount Holly at the Superior Court of New Jersey, Burlington Vicinage. She is licensed to practice in New Jersey.
